Meet my Sims, Dean and Cas.

Here they are flirting in their underwear. Dean likes brick patterns, and Cas is a pretty princess in his orange boxers and bunny slippers.

And here they are Whohooing in Sammy’s bed (Sammy’s a night shift at the hospital so they took the opportunity to make good use of his bed. Sam was NOT pleased when he came home).

Sam/Cas AU. Sam and Dean are hunters, but Cas is a human Sam rescued at a hunt. They fell in love and Sam chooses to move in with him even while he continues to hunt with Dean.

Cas understands the dangers of the job, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t worry. Sam leaves for days and even weeks at a time to hunt with his brother. He always calls, always assures Cas that he’s safe. But it’s those times when Cas doesn’t hear his voice that he worries, worries that the next time the phone rings, it won’t be Sam, but Dean or some officer telling him the bad news.

Sometimes, Sam returns with a smile on his face, eager to share his tales of defeating demons and rescuing little children from monsters. And Cas would listen. Curled up together on the sofa, with Bones at their feet, Sam would tell him about his adventures, and would recount Dean’s own misadventures with much enthusiasm, and for a little while, Cas’ worries would be gone.

But there are times when Sam returns, bloodied, bruised, and beaten, that Cas’ fears leap up to eat him alive again. Yet, despite his fears, these are the times Cas is happy he chose this life. 

Because even though he doesn’t hunt monsters or save innocent people, he knows it’s Sam he saves a little each day instead. It’s this thought that keeps him going. 

No matter how much his worries plague him, he waits. With a smile on his face and an eager dog by his side, he waits. So that the moment Sam walks through the door with the horrors of his job plaguing his mind, Cas can be there, to hug him when he cries, to hold him through his nightmares, and to kiss his demons and monsters goodbye.
